Fast Road / Race Car


Purchased by the previous owner in 1991 and used as a daily use car up until 2001 when it was stored until approx 2009.

In 2010 the car was restored fully into a fast road / racing spec by Ben Marshall classic vehicles in Somerset. In total including parts it was £14,500 restoration costs.

The car has done 3 track days at Castle Combe in the last 10 years other then this it has covered very few miles since the restoration.

This was a complete chassis up rebuild


Ported & polished cylinder head

Chambers reworked to oversize inlet and exhaust valves

Skimmed to give 10:1 compression with the pistons used

Crank reground with all new bearings and new heavy duty oil pump

Lightweight gel battery

Twin 40 Webber carbs

Running Castrol R racing oil

Battery cut off and additional gauges for oil / voltage

FIA racing seats and harness

Lowered rear spring (using spacer)

Uprated front springs and adjustable AVO shocks all round.

Adjustable suspension front & back

Lightweight alloy wheels with TOYO racing tyres

Firewall behind rear seats

GT6 front uprights and brakes (provides larger brake discs and also larger front wheel bearings)

Polybushes throughout


The car is fitted with a lightweight fibre glass bonnet and boot lid. The fiber glass bonnet is an ok fit not perfect shut lines. Fitted for racing to reduce weight on the front.

All original bumpers and chrome restored

Interior heating left in place and fully working as well as original dash board with all the normal gauges & features

The car is in superb condition. Large history file including many photographs of the restoration.
