Austin Maxi
1750cc

1980
Here we have an opportunity to buy yourself a little piece of British motoring history that probably everyone can relate to or tell a story about – The Austin Maxi.

This example is finished in champagne with brown velour seats and tan carpets.

A very nice example of this now scarce car.

Bodywork is in very good condition and presents well obviously a car that has always been garaged and cared for.

It is showing 54,000 miles although we do not have a complete paperwork record to guarantee this looking around the car would suggest that the mileage is correct.

The cars runs and drives very well. The ride quality on these cars is really great. Plus A little known fact, the Maxi was the first British Family segment car that had a 5 speed gearbox “who knew?”

A well cared for car, previous owner was a member of the Maxi owners club, its original instruction and operating manual plus sales brochures and other paperwork accompanying the car.

Without doubt it will attract a great deal of interest at shows and would be superb at the festival of the unexceptional, and who knows it might even win a prize!
