Lotus Elan SE Coupe
1969
A good looking car. Being the SE model
It has the knock on wheels and attractive side chrome trims.
Mechanically. The car has been well maintained and runs and drives nicely. Everything seems to work as intended. The car comes with a huge amount of paperwork and history that covers the last forty odd years. This details work including engine rebuild to Sprint spec. Lotus replacement chassis. Solid driveshaft conversion, electric fan etc. recently the car has had a new brake servo. 4x matching GoodYear tyres.
Bodywork. A very straight little car, appears to have no damage and the panels including the doors fit remarkably nicely. The paintwork is past its best. The paint has micro blisters, cracks and chips. All body fittings and badges are in place.
Interior. Is in good shape. Appears to have recently had replacement carpets, headlining. The seats and dashboard have signs of wear as to be expected from a car this age but generally it’s in good condition.
A good useable car, best described as an oily rag car.
